I was born in the suburds of Espírito Santo. My first turning point was when I was 14y and discovered about a good public school here. The Federal Institute of Espírito Santo.
A year of hard studying passed by, and I was able to be approved in the 2nd place for the Eletrotechnician tecnical course integrated with high-school. There, I spent most of the time doing chess and sports, achieving multiple medals in the Federal Institutes competitions over the 4 years.
In my last year, I won the National chess competition for the Federal Institutes games. Later, I started my undergraduate course in the same campus. First, I joined the Metallurgical Engineering Course, but It did not take me much time to dislike the chemistry involved, changed to the Electrical Engineering the next semester.
